      SOLUTION: This breaker includes: a first switch; a second switch connected to the first switch in parallel; the PTC current-limiting device 44 connected in series to the second switch and in parallel to the first switch; a movable arm 50 opening/closing the first and second switches; a fixed arm 40 including a first fixed arm conductor part 54 for guiding for guiding current flow toward the first fixed contact 46 in a normal load current mode and a second fixed arm conductor part 48 for guiding current flow toward the second fixed contact 52 via the PTC current-limiting device 44 in a fault current mode; and a successive trip means for elastically biasing the second switch by operation of the movable arm 50 in a closing direction and successively tripping the first and second switches using time taken for releasing the elastic bias of the second switch when the movable arm 50 is operated in a tripping direction.
