    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately mount a printing plate on a plate cylinder corresponding to a register at various positions by selecting a target position on a body of the plate from a selective position of an axial direction corresponding a predetermined cylinder section, and disposing the plate at a target position of the plate in the axial direction to a reference position of the cylinder. SOLUTION: Independently operable grip and pressing unit are corresponded to a printing plate corresponding to predetermined cylinder sections in an axial direction, and they have a gripper unit of a suction strip piece 47 and a pressing roller and can be moved by a positioning unit. To extend under tension a new printing plate 84, a cylinder 1 is rotated to an extending position where a centerline of its closed portion 57 coincides with a perpendicular 81 passing a rotating axis 18 at a right angle to moving directions of linear drivers 27, 28, and a lateral cross beam is moved to a position for taking off the plate 84. The unit is moved by an operation of a positioning driver, and the plate 84 is previously positioned at a wall 13 of an upper side and an engaging strip piece 19 of a first printing plate supply unit 12, and mounted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a number-of-revolutions controller so that driving motors for constituting units can be controlled with different toque transition characteristics, by placing filters in the individual control sections of sub-driving motors in order to smooth the target current value of a main driving motor. SOLUTION: A number-of-revolutions controller 28 sends out a target current value on its output side to the current adding point 29 of a main driving motor 18 on the one hand and to the target current value transmitters 38 in control sections 36, 37 of sub-driving motors 19, 21 on the other hand. The target current value of the main driving motor 18 is smoothed at the target current value transmitters 38, and target current values for the sub-driving motors 19, 21 are supplied to the first input side of a current summing point 41 using a level matching section 39. The actual current values of the sub-driving motors 19, 21 detected by an actual current value transmitters 44 are compared with the target current value there. Filters 46 for smoothing target current values are advantageously used as low-pass filters.
