    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity of a core by shortening the total cycle time required for manufacturing the core, to reduce the amount of flammable gas to be consumed for manufacture the core, and to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide production accompanied by the same.SOLUTION: RCS (Resin Coated Sand) preheated in a conical part 2b of a hopper 2 is fed to a heating chamber 3a. The RCS in the heating chamber 3a is heated with hot air flowing upwardly from downwardly in the heating chamber 3a while being mechanically stirred. Resin coating the surface of sand grains of the RCS is softened to form softened RCS. The softened RCS is fed from the heating chamber 3 to a blow head 4. The softened RCS is stored while mechanically stirring manner in the blow head 4 by an upper stirring mechanism 6 and a lower stirring mechanism 7. Thereafter, the softened RCS is blown in a die 5. Further, the speed is increased by adequately controlling the acceleration during the speed increase and the speed reduction by using a servo motor or the like as each drive source.
