    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing system which can align the loops of stitches in sewn parts by automatically sewing stitches in a knit fabric. SOLUTION: In a sewing system having a first table 133 and a second table 134 to which the subjects of sewing 109, 112 are secured, a sewing machine main body 132, an X-Y table 44, a CCD camera 22 for capturing data about the images of the subjects of sewing, a storage device for storing data about the images of mark patterns on the surfaces of the subjects of sewing, and a controller which compares the image data to find the difference between the coordinates of stitches to be sewn and the coordinates of a sewing needle 18 to move the sewing main body 132 and to order the sewing of the stitches, the first table 133 has a stationary securing member and a movable securing member to which the subjects of sewing which have elasticity are secured in an elongated state and a sticking plate 140 for preventing the subjects of sewing from moving.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a mesh loop to be beautiful and to execute correspondence to any kind of mesh in a knit by searching a mark pattern shape from image data to be fetched, obtaining a sewing place coordinate with it as reference and moving a sewing machine mainbody by means of difference from the present coordinate of a needle. SOLUTION: An XY table 44 is moved, the image of a sewing place is fetched by a CCD camera 22, the mark pattern shape is set and a mesh position to be sewed is set and stored. Then, the sewing machine mainbody 14 is moved, image data of the CCD camera 22 is fetched, a pattern being similar to the mark pattern is searched and the pattern interval is read and stored. Then, the sewing machine mainbody 14 is moved to a sewing start position, the pattern which coincides with the stored mark pattern is searched and the mesh coordinate is obtained. The sewing needle 18 is set in the position for penetrating the mesh and sewing is started. Thus, the mark pattern is correctly grasped by the CCD camera 22 so that the beautiful mesh loop is obtained.
