摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to pick up an excellent sample for analysis from molten metal on the lower side of a slug layer by forming a hole, whose diameter is smaller than the internal diameter of conduit tip part on the side of the molten metal in the vicinity of the tip of the conduit on the side of a sample introducing port. CONSTITUTION:A sample mold 2 has a hollow part 6, a sample introducing port 4 and an air hole 7. After the solidification of molten metal, the metal mold is divided, and the inner sample is readily taken out. A hole 5, whose diamter is smaller than the tip part of a conduit 1 on the side of the molten metal is formed in the vicinity of the tip of the conduit 1 on the side of the introducing port 4. After the solidification, the linking part of the disk-shaped sample obtained with the sample mold 2 and the metal rod obtained with the molten metal in the conduit 1 is made to be the small-diameter thin rod shape so that the part can be readily cut and separated. The coupling part of the sucking port of a reduced pressure tank is brought into tight contact and connected to the opening part of the upper part of a tube body 3. A vacuum pump and a sucking device are connected to the opposite side of the tank. A valve is operated, and the molten metal is lifeted and made to fill. The leg part, which is linked with disk-shaped solidified metal sample can be cut without a special device and can be readily separated.
