    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for metallic pipe, which will not impair the effective diameter of the metallic pipe and has no possibility of slipping off when sudden pressure is applied to the connecting part. SOLUTION: A metallic pipe 2 having the outside diameter of one end enlarged is provided, and a connecting main body 3 is so constructed that the shaft center part is provided with a through hole 7 to which the enlarged diameter part 6 of the metallic pipe 2 is fitted, male screws 8, 8 are provided on both end parts of the outer peripheral part, and both end parts of the through hole 7 are provided with taper holes 9, 9 gradually increased in diameter toward the shaft end. A fastening nut 4 has an annular regulating flange 13 bent in the direction of the shaft center at one end, and is screw-engaged with the male screw 8, and the inside diameter D1 of the regulating flange part 13 is formed a little larger than the outside diameter D2 of a small-diameter part 12 of the metallic pipe 2 and a little smaller than the outside diameter D3 of the enlarged diameter part 6 of the metallic pipe 2. A ring-shaped packing 5 is interposed between the taper hole 9 and the regulating flange 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper tube joining method without generating an oxide film on the inner circumferential surface of the tube by heating a joining part and welding it after forming an oil film in advance at least on the joining part of the inner circumference face of the copper tube at the time of heating, welding the joining parts of mutual copper tubes and joining both as one body. SOLUTION: An end part of one side copper tube 1 is expanded in diameter, an end part of the other side copper tube 2 is fitted to the expanded part and both copper tubes 1, 2 are connected. In this state, oil is applied on the total area of the inner circumference face 3 of the copper tube, at least, on the inner circumference face 3a of the joining part 4 to be heated to a high temperature and an oil film is formed. While the horizontal state of the connected both copper tubes 1, 2 is held, the tube joining parts 4 are heated and welded. Here, the welding includes the both of a brazing which melts a solder having a low melting point and enters it between the copper tubes 1, 2, that is, to the both joining faces 4a without melting the base material, and a welding which locally heats both joining parts 4 to the molten state and joins them.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to machine easily a fine-diametered deep hole by fitting a cylindrical body over a filler member and forming a thin, long hole between the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body and the outer circumferential surface of the filler member. CONSTITUTION:A thin, long groove 11 is cut along a longitudinal direction on the periphery of a filler member 10 of a circular column shape. Closely fitting a filler member 12 over the filler member 10, and cutting a groove 13 in the longitudinal direction on the periphery of the filler member 12, a fine deep hole 1 is formed between the groove 11 of the periphery of the filler member 10 and the inner circumferential surface of the filler member 12. Further cutting a thin, long groove 13 on the periphery of the filler member 12 and closely fitting a cylindrical body 14 over the periphery of the filler member 12, a fine deep hole 1 is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 14 and the groove 13. Accordingly, machining of the fine- diametered deep hole can be performed with a standard equipment.
