    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously decomposing PCB and a device therefor in which PCB is continuously subjected to detoxification treatment without generating corrosive gas and heat loss is reduced and running costs are decreased. SOLUTION: The mixed liquid of a PCB solution and sodium ethoxide is agitated in a mixing tank 22 and a greaselike primary reaction medium is produced by a heating means 40. A hydrothermal solvent, the primary reaction medium and a reaction accelerator are vaporized in a reaction tank 42. The hydrothermal solvent, the primary reaction medium and the reaction accelerator and subjected to a catalytic contact reaction and thereby sodium chloride and a secondary reaction medium are separated. Sodium chloride is scraped by a screw drum 74 and discharged by discharge means 78, 80. The secondary reaction medium is cooled by a condenser 86 and separated into decomposition oil and an alkali solution in a discharged liquid tank 90. Accordingly, PCB is efficiently subjected to detoxification treatment and heat loss is reduced and both energy consumption and running costs are decreased and load of maintenance and inspection is reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam rotary engine which converts regenerative energy into power at high efficiency.SOLUTION: A rotor 34 is rotatably accommodated in a circular operation chamber 24 with a cam lobe 26 which is adjacent to an inlet 12 for introducing an operation medium and forms a pressure region 24a, causing the rotor to slide on the inner peripheral wall of the cam lobe, and a plurality of arch-like piston chambers 40 are formed so as to extend in the tangential direction of the rotor, and an arch-like rocking block piston 42 is disposed so as to retract in the arch-like piston chamber. When the cam lobe is engaged with one arch-like rocking block piston, the cam lobe moves the block piston to the maximum retreat position to seal the rear portion of the pressure region, causing the other adjacent arch-like rocking block piston to protrude to the preceding portion of the pressure region, thereby allowing the operation fluid to operate the rotor efficiently.
