    • PURPOSE: To effectively sterilize and deodorize a filter or the like of a suction means by mixing ozone of an ozone generator with water in a pipeline of a water supply means. CONSTITUTION: An ozone generator 60 capable of generating the prescribed density of ozone via, for example, a high-frequency surface discharge method, a plasma resonance method or the like, is mounted on a dental diagnostic device. The ozone generator 60 is connected so that ozone can be mixed with water in a pipeline 34 of a water supply means 30. Furthermore, a suction means 40 is connected so that ozone can be introduced to a pipeline 41 where blood, various germs or the like flows. An air turbine 8, while jetting water into a oral cavity via the means 30, is driven with an air supply means 35. When a lesion of a tooth is cut for treatment, the generator 60 begins to operate and generate the prescribed density of ozone, thereafter, the ozone is mixed with water with operation of the means 30. Thus, ozone contained in water comes in direct contact with blood, various germs or the like of the lesion of a tooth in the oral cavity, and an malodorous substance is decomposed, due to a strong oxidation force of the ozone, thereby being deodorized.
