    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dirt on a bottom of a crossing pipe and a wall of the pipe in a sewage system by stretching over a wire which connects a spherical body between manholes in the downstream and the upstream and moving the spherical body forcedly by a winch by repeating it from the downstream side to the upstream side. SOLUTION: First, solid filth 4 on a bottom of a manhole in the downstream 15 is discharged by a clamshell 19. Next, a wire 11 which connects a hollow spherical body 7 is stretched over between manhole in the upstream and the downstream 13 and 15 to arrange the spherical body 7 on a bottom 5a of a crossing pipe 5. The spherical body 7 is wound up by winches 17, 18 from a start point A to an end point B. An inside diameter of the crossing pipe 5 is reduced by the spherical body 7, water pressure and flow speed of sewage water 25 are increased, and an eddy current is generated in the vicinity of the spherical body 7 to remove oily filth 27 adhered on a wall of the pipe and solid filth 4 adhered on the pipe bottom 5a. After this work is repeated twice or three times, the spherical body 7 is arranged on an upper wall 5b and is moved forcedly from C point to D point to remove the oily filth 27 on the wall face of the pipe. The solid filth 4 and the oily filth 27 which are removed are discharged by a clamshell 19.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cleaning method for a sewerpipe which prevents an optical fiber from being damaged by jet water for cleaning, sewage, solid bodies, etc., in the sewerpipe which strike on the optical fiber. SOLUTION: The protection device which has a beltlike protection sheet 10 mounted between a support rod 11 and a tension device 12 by using wires 18 fitted both its edges is prepared; and the protection sheet 10 is inserted and arranged in the sewerpipe 20 to be cleaned and the support rod 11 and tension device 12 arranged in both the manholes 15 and 16 positioned on both the sides of the sewerpipe 20 respectively. The support rod 11 is engaged with the flank of the manhole 15 and in this state, the tension device 12 is placed in operation to draw the wire 18 and give specific tension, thereby making both the edges of the protection sheet 10 about against specific positions on the inside surface 20a of the sewerpipe 20. Consequently, the optical fiber 37 arranged in the sewerpipe 20 is covered. Even when the inside of the sewerpipe positioned in the lower space of the protection sheet 10 is cleaned in this state by using jet water, none of the jet water strikes on the optical fiber 37 because of the protection sheet 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire threading machine for use in an inverted siphon in sewerage, which can easily, quickly, and positively set a threading wire, and is not limited by the length of the inverted siphon that is an object to be cleaned.
      SOLUTION: A main body 1 of the wire threading machine, which is movably inserted into the inverted siphon to thread the wire into the inverted siphon, is formed like a truncated cone or a sphere of a solid or a hollow sealed body. The main body 1 has a threading wire mounting fitting 4 formed on a rear portion thereof, to which the threading wire 10 is connected. Further the main body 1 has a deadweight 5 arranged on a lower portion thereof, and a sealed air portion 7 on an upper portion thereof. The entire body of the wire threading machine has a specific gravity of the same in the range of 0.8 to 0.98, and the center of gravity is located in the height range of 15 to 40% the height of the main body 1.
