    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spray a proper quantity of an antifreezing agent by directly burying and installing concentration detecting electrodes on a road or a parking lot, sticking the thinned antifreezing agent between the electrodes, and detecting concentration on a real-time basis. SOLUTION: When an antifreezing agent is sprayed on a road surface, the antifreezing agent is stuck to an antifreezing agent concentration detector buried on the road surface. The antifreezing agent is thinned in concentration by the moisture existing on the road surface in advance or the snow ice by fallen snow, and the solution with thin concentration is stuck to the antifreezing agent concentration detector. A resin material or a concrete material 1 protects the periphery of the detector. Electrodes 2 detect concentration, a circuit 3 converts the concentration into an electric signal, and the electric conductivity between the electrodes 2 is detected. The relation ship between the antifreezing agent and the electric conductivity varies according to the kind of the antifreezing agent, and the constant of an amplifier in the circuit 3 can be changed. A heater 4 keeps the detector at a constant temperature. The concentration of the antifreezing agent sprayed on the road surface can be invariably detected, and a proper quantity of the antifreezing agent can be sprayed.

    • PURPOSE: To improve operation efficiency and to reduce the price of leasing charge by incorporating the detectors for detecting using and operating states and a communication equipment in a measurement instrument to be leased and making a central arithmetic processor supervise and control the using and operating states through a communication channel. CONSTITUTION: In this system for leasing the measurement instrument 3 and managing it, a using state detector 6, an operating state detector 5 and the communication equipment 4 are incorporated in the measurement instrument 3 and the central arithmetic processor 1 supervises and controls the using state and the operating state of the measurement instrument 3 through the communication channel 2. Then, when input for utilizing the measurement instrument 3 is performed by an input device 8, a measurement instrument measurement part 7 performs initial setting, the operating state detector 5 detects it and the communication equipment 4 reports the information through the communication channel 2 to the central arithmetic processor 1. The central arithmetic processor 1 controls the measurement instrument 3 to be a usable state and stores the time and data or the like. Then, when the end of use is reported from the side of the measurement instrument 3, the central arithmetic processor 1 makes the use of the measurement instrument 3 impossible and calculates the leasing charge.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the condition of a road surface in a cold, snow covered place by alternately applying AC voltages having the different frequencies across a first electrode and a third electrode which are arranged side by side, and detecting the voltage across a second electrode in the vicinity of the first electrode and the first electrode. CONSTITUTION:A nonmagnetic container 7 containing electrodes 4, 5 and 6 is embedded so as to form the same surface as a ground surface 10 such as a road surface. The AC voltage of an AC power source 1 having a frequency F1 and the AC voltage of an AC power source 2 having a frequency F2 are switched with a switch 3 and alternately applied across the electrode 4 and the electrode 6. The voltage generated across the electrodes 4 and 5 is inputted into a voltage-value discriminating circuit 11 having high input impedance through input terminals 12 and converted into the logic values of 1 and 0. The outputs are converted into the signals for the conditions of the various surfaces of the road in a logic circuit 13 for performing logic operation in synchronization with the switch 3. The signals are outputted to output terminals 14.
