摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce initial opening force so as to facilitate an opening action even for an elder person and a child by providing a switch for starting a linear motor for reducing the initial opening force when an overhang door is slightly opened and actuating driving force, which works in the overhang door opening direction so as to open the overhang door by a predetermined distance from the nearly completely closed condition. SOLUTION: In a semiautomatic overhang door device, in which an overhang door 1 opened manually is automatically closed along a slightly tilted upper rail 3, on the door tip side in a rail base 2, an electromagnet 6 constituting a linear motor 5 is mounted beneath a control box 7. A magnet 11 corresponding to a stator is mounted in a supporting base 10 mounted in a hanging tool 9 in one of sash pulleys 4. In addition, a starting switch 12 is arranged in the rail base 2. When the magnet 11 is brought into contact with the starting switch 12, an OFF condition is accomplished, so that electric current to the electromagnet 6 is shut off. When the overhang door 1 is slightly opened, the magnet 11 is separated from the starting switch 12 so that the linear motor 5 is started so as to apply driving force to the magnet 11, and consequently, the overhang door 1 can be opened with slight force.

The latch can be engaged with an engaging part provided on a stile 20a of a door frame and an engaging part provided on a stile 10 of the arm 2 as well.

Thereby the invasion of light from a gap between the panels can be prevented, and damage can be prevented even if a finger enters between the hinges at the time of closing the door.

Accordingly, by detaching the screws 7,7... and drawing out the claws 6,6... from the rail 2, the rail 2 is detached from the rail base 1, and it can be taken out from the opening 5 while obliquely inclining. Consequently, although in this overhang door device the panel of the door pocket 14 cannot be detached or hardly detached from, maintenance inspection of the rail 2 can be executed.

The engaging piece 12 is fitted in the inside of the lower side panel and fixed thereto. Accordingly, the panel is fixed by fitting the engaging piece 12 provided at the lower end of the panel and the engaging part is fixed to the frame body or a stud so as to embrace it with a spring force. And hence, the panel can be stably fitted without play.
