    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen radio wave absorption characteristics in band although a radio wave absorber is a thin type. SOLUTION: The radio wave absorber is formed by putting a wire magnetic body portion 11 having magnetic wires 110 woven in meshes and a magnetic sheet 12, using a resin with dispersed magnetic powder as a binder, one over the other. The wire magnetic body portion 11 includes wire rods 110 as longitudinal threads 111 and lateral threads 112, which are mutually woven. Each of the wire rods 110 includes a core material 11a and a magnetic body layer 11b with which a periphery (external surface) thereof is coated. With the stack structure, the radio wave absorber is a thin type and a peak of an absorption frequency shifts toward a frequency side lower than the original resonance frequency of the magnetic sheet 12, so that the band is widened.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shield tube which is provided with open apertures and attenuates electromagnetic waves, and an electromagnetic shield room using the tube.
      SOLUTION: The electromagnetic shield tube 1 installed in the electromagnetic shield room 2 consists of a waveguide 3, and is provided with a magnetic layer 4 on the internal surface of the waveguide 3. To the electromagnetic wave of a frequency in a prescribed range higher than a cut-off frequency of the waveguide 3, the magnetic layer 4 has a complex permeability converting the thickness of the magnetic layer 4 into a prescribed electric length. A resistive layer 5 which causes a loss in the electromagnetic wave is formed on the inside of the magnetic layer 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic element that functions as a magnetic body with no increase in dielectric constant for electromagnetic waves of high frequency.
