    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment apparatus which enables more efficient use of ozone in comparison with the conventional one when decomposing pollution-causing substances in sewage.
      SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment apparatus, raw water containing the pollution-causing substances is introduced from a raw water tank 1 to a pressure pump 5, and ozone supplied from a gas supply device 3 is introduced to the pressure pump 5 to dissolve the ozone in the raw water under pressure, thereby generating primary treated water having a lower content of the pollution-causing substances than that of the raw water. The primary treated water whose pressure is increased at the pressure dissolution in the pressure pump 5 is jetted from a nozzle 9 into a reaction tank 11 to reduce the ozone dissolved in a liquid phase before being jetted into microbubbles in a liquid phase after being jetted, thereby generating secondary treated water having a lower content of the pollution-causing substances than that of the primary treated water.
