    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently enhance the radiation effect in a louver mainly for the use of radiation, including a number of louver-like cut and raised parts which are cut and raised aslant from a plate surface of a metal plate, by sufficiently increasing the parallel part length of adjacent cut and raised parts (fluid passage length) without being restricted by the pitch of the cut and raised parts.
      SOLUTION: A plurality of louver original plates having a number of louver-like cut and raised parts are overlapped while allowing leading end surfaces of the raised parts of the overlapped louver original plates to abut on each other, so that the cut and raised parts of each louver original plate form a substantially continued flat surface. According to this, the parallel part length of the adjacent cut and raised parts is sufficiently increased as the whole without being restricted by the pitch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming flow passage of a metal separator in which the bottom face of the recess and top face of the project of a gas flow passage is smoothed, and to provide a metal separator which can be stuck closely to a fuel cell, having a bottom face and a top face of the gas flow passage being flat. SOLUTION: The method for forming the flow passage of the metal separator is composed of a first step of pressing uneveness into a flat metal plate 10, a second step of bending the bottom faces of the recessions and the top faces of the projections along the recessions and projections to the inside, respectively, and a third step of pressing the recessions and projections from within, to smooth the bottom faces and the top faces. The bottom and top faces of the gas flow passage can be planarized in the second step, since they are bent inside and then pressed to be planarized from within in the third step.
