    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic component in which a vitreous coating of high hardness is formed on its surface, and a color coat layer below the vitreous coating layer is not discolored.
SOLUTION: As for a cover 1 of a cellular phone, a window part 2 and a curled part 3 at a peripheral edge are integrally formed by pressing and punching a flat sheet. In the cover 1, a color coat layer 5 is formed on a surface of a stainless steel-made base material 4, and a first vitreous coating gas barrier layer 6 is formed on the color coat layer 5 through the low-temperature baking. A second vitreous coating high-hardness layer 7 is formed on the first vitreous coating gas barrier layer 6 through the high-temperature baking.
