      SOLUTION: The magnetic shield structure for lowering an influence by the magnetic field produced from the transmission line is so constituted that a magnetic shield material 41 is placed to part of a face member of a building and that the magnetic field in the objective space around the face member setting the magnetic shield material 41 therein is lowered. The magnetic shield material 41 is so placed to the face member that it is laid on the surface or the inside of the face member such as a wall 34, a ceiling, a floor or the like, and it is favorable that the magnetic shield material 41 is covered with a finish layer. When the magnetic shield material is covered with the finish layer, the external appearance is not different from the general finish to keep a view of a room in a good condition.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pithead device dispensing with the labor for probe boring and also making it unnecessary to stop the operation of a shield machine, and a method for construction of a tunnel using the pithead device.
      SOLUTION: The pithead device 4 is provided at an arrival pithead 2b at which the shield machine 13 arrives, and it has a first pithead ring 5 fitted on the wall surface 2 of the arrival pithead. A first shield through hole 6a through which the shield machine can pass is formed in the first pithead ring, and a second pithead ring 9 having a second shield through hole 10c so formed that the shield machine can pass therethrough is fitted to the first pithead ring so that it can be moved and fixed. A positional slippage of the shield machine can be absorbed by only moving the second ring 9, without conducting the probe boring every time for checking the position of the shield machine. Accordingly, it is also unnecessary to stop the operation of the shield machine for the probe boring, and no waste of time occurs.
