    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus of working sheet metal comprises the steps of; performing drawing and punching in the same stage; reducing the cost of die remarkably; mitigating severe allowable restrictions in the accuracy of the die due to a conventional shearing system; improving workability and making punching of a drawn wall part possible.
      SOLUTION: This working method for performing the drawing and the punching of the sheet metal in the same stage comprises the steps of; holding a material 7 to be worked between a drawing die 4 and a blank holder 6; lowering the drawing die 4 by pressing the drawing die 4; completing the drawing by a working surface formed with a drawing punch 1, a punching punch 5 and the drawing die 4; further pressing the drawing die 4 by adding press pressure; fitting the punching punch 5 supported in the punching punch supporting part 2a of a punch holder 2 into a groove part 8 of the drawing die 4 and performing tensile break of the material 7 to be worked by the edge part 8a in the groove part 8 of the drawing die 4.

The groove part 3 has a flange forming face 3a on an inner upper end of the groove part and a piercing supporting part 3b on an outer upper end of the groove part. The movable upper die is provided with a piercing cutting blade having a pointed part 14a to pierce the trimming portion of the workpiece and a bending face 14b, and a pressure source 99 having the downward energizing pressure.
