    • PURPOSE: To lower the operational cost of a scroll-type compressor by forming vanes movable pursuant to movement of a revolving scroll on both sides of a suction hole and controlling the movement of the vanes electrically and mechanically.
      CONSTITUTION: On both sides of a suction hole 10 formed at the peripheral part of a fixed scroll 1, vanes 19a, 19b with the same height as laps 1a, 2a are formed and made to touch on the wall surface of the lap 2a of a revolving scroll 2. The vanes 19a, 19b are connected with electromagnets 22a, 22b through connecting bars 21a, 21b. Accordingly, a compressor allowing its non-stage performance control in accordance with load only through manipulation of the vane movement is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To allow highly efficient operation by connecting a first air compressor having a larger capacity with a second air compressor having a smaller capacity in parallel relation thereto as a compression source, and controllably operating the first air compressor when flow rate is more than a predetermined value, while operating the second air compressor when less than the predetermined value, on the basis of a detection signal from a detecting means for detecting an amount of air to be supplied from the compression source to a load. CONSTITUTION:A main compressor 1A and an auxiliary compressor 1B are connected with each other. In operation of the main compressor 1A, when compressed air pressure is detected by a lower limit pressure detecting means 4L at the time of T0 as being a lower limit pressure set value, the main compressor 1A starts compression operation. Then, when compressed air pressure is detected by an upper limit pressure detecting means 4mu as being an upper limit pressure set value, the main compressor 1A starts uncompression operation. However, in the case that the pressure is gently reduced, a timer in an operation control device 5 is operated from the time when the pressure reaches the upper limit pressure set value, and if the pressure does not reach the lower limit pressure set value within a period of elapsed time te, an operational contactor 3A for the main compressor 1A is opened at the time of T2 to change control of the operation control device 5, so as to allow the auxiliary compressor 1B to be operated.

    • PURPOSE:To separate completely adjacent compressive elements from each other for running a compressor under capacity control by providing a clutch between crankshafts of the adjacent compressive elements of a plurality of said elements provided axially. CONSTITUTION:When a second compressive element 4 is separated and only a first one 3 is run, a motor 2 is stopped and current to an electromagnetic coil 19 is cut. Thus, a first engaging clutch plate 17 of a clutch 5 is damagnetized and a second engaging clutch plate 18 is dropped by its own weight so that the engagement of engaging claws 17a, 18a of first and second engaging clutch plates 17, 18 is released and crankshafts 7, 12 of first and second compressive elements 3, 4 are separated from each other. Under this condition, a motor 2 is driven so that only the first compressive element 3 carries out the gas compressing action.
