    • PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly, reduce a leakage loss and a mechanical loss and prevent seizure or the like, by providing a spring made of a form- memorizing alloy, behind a rotary scroll.
      CONSTITUTION: A block 3 is provided with a spring chamber 8 in such a position that the mirror plate 5a of a rotary scroll 5 slides on the spring chamber. A spring 9 made of a form-memorizing alloy is provided in the spring chamber 8. Since the spring 9 does not need to be previously pressed at the time of assembly of a compressor, the assembly is facilitated. Since an appropriate anti-thrust force is applied to the rotary scroll 5 at the time of either of start and stationary operation of the compressor, the front of a lap is surely sealed to reduce a leakage loss and a mechanical loss and prevent seizure or the like.

    • PURPOSE: To lower the operational cost of a scroll-type compressor by forming vanes movable pursuant to movement of a revolving scroll on both sides of a suction hole and controlling the movement of the vanes electrically and mechanically.
      CONSTITUTION: On both sides of a suction hole 10 formed at the peripheral part of a fixed scroll 1, vanes 19a, 19b with the same height as laps 1a, 2a are formed and made to touch on the wall surface of the lap 2a of a revolving scroll 2. The vanes 19a, 19b are connected with electromagnets 22a, 22b through connecting bars 21a, 21b. Accordingly, a compressor allowing its non-stage performance control in accordance with load only through manipulation of the vane movement is obtained.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent inclination of a rotary scroll mirror plate by a method wherein a back pressure chamber is provided with a valve mechanism introducing a delivery pressure upon starting while an intermediate pressure upon normal operation.
      CONSTITUTION: The valve mechanism 23 is arranged between the rear part of first reducer B
      1 and a communicating hole 16 for the back pressure chamber 15 while a spring 25 and a valve body 26 are provided in a casing 24. The casing 24 is also provided with an intermediate pressure communicating pipe 27, communicating with the rear part of the first reducer B
      1 , high pressure communicating pipes 28, 29, communicating with the fore part of a condenser A, and a back pressure communicating pipe 30, communicating with a communicating hole 16. The spring 25 is designed so as to be weaker than the delivery pressure upon normal operation but stronger than a balance pressure upon being stopped. According to this constitution, the inclination of the rotary scroll mirror plate may be prevented.
