摘要： PURPOSE:To control the feed quantity of a wire rod by rotating/driving clamping rollers by a control motor independent of a crankshaft which is to be the drive source of a cutter or the like so as to adjust the turning angle of the clamping rollers in correspondence with the turning angle of the output shaft of the control motor. CONSTITUTION:When the feed quantity, the cut length of a wire rod (a), is inputted into a feed quantity input part 17. the turning angle of a control motor 10 required to obtain the turning angle of clamping rollers 1 corresponding to the feed quantity is computed by a computing part 18, and a control signal is set on the basis of this computed tuning angle of the control motor 10. At each feed timing of the wire rod (a), a synchronizing signal is emitted by a synchronizing signal generating part 19 and this synchronizing signal is received by a control signal generating part 20, and through this, the above-mentioned control signal is sent out to a motor driving part 21 so as to rotate the output shaft 11 of the control motor 10 by the computed angle. The clamping rollers l are thereby rotated by the corresponding turning angle, and thus the wire rod (a) is fed by the quantity coinciding with the inputted feed quantity.

Air return passages 15, 16 are formed for stabilizing axially, and air cushions 10, 11 are formed between sectional discs 6, 7 fixed to the end surfaces of the bearing bushings 2, 3 and the rotating outer cylinder 1.
