    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warn the occurrence of abnormality at an early time with an alarm by providing a abnormality recording means for recording peeling-off mistakes and an abnormality determining means for outputting a warning signal when the number of times of making recording mistakes reaches a preset deter mination reference value. SOLUTION: A signal indicating the success of peeling off sent in for each operation is recorded time sequentially for each peeking-off operation in a computer as one-dimensional arrangement information. Then, the total number of operation mistakes in this one-dimensional arrangement is compared with a preset value, and if the total number of operation mistakes is a set value abnormality, an abnormality signal is transferred to a host computer. Also, operation mistake flags are only counted, a processing signal is transmitted to a counter cleared by operation success flags, and when an integrated value reaches a preset value, an abnormality signal is transferred to the host computer. Such an abnormality signal is processed by the host computer, an alarm lamp is turned on and thereby an operator is warned.

    • PURPOSE:To improve durability of a pirn bobbin and efficiency of remaining thread cutting work by providing long grooves on an outer surface of a substantially tubular tube in its axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch and a start switch of a pneumatic pressure source 12 are turned on to place a pirn, bobbin 1 on receive plates 15a, 15b, an optical sensor detects it. When button switches 16a, 16b are pressed simultaneously, air cylinders 17a, 17b move a piston 17c and a piston 17d to the right and to the left, respectively, to insert them into holes (2c), 2d of the pirn, bobbin 1. When the pistons 17c, 17d rotate and any of long grooves 3a, 3b, 3c comes to a position where a cutter 26 passes, a position detection sensor 31 generates a position detection signal to stop the rotation of the pistons 17c, 17d. A vertical travel portion 24 moves as shown by the two-dots-chain line. That is, an air cylinder 18 is driven to move a piston 20 to the right and move a horizontal travel portion 21 from the left to the right so that a cutter 26 cuts remaining thread of the pirn bobbin 1.
