摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrical charging inside a resin material as well as a surface of a resin vessel 2 in sterilizing the resin vessel 2 by applying an electron beam.SOLUTION: A bottle support means 18 is mounted on a lower end of a cylindrical rotating shaft 44 rotatably supported by a rotating wheel 12. The bottle support means 18 includes a pair of grip members 52A and 52B by which a mouth 2a of a bottle 2 is gripped. The bottle 3 rotated and conveyed while being supported by the bottle support means 18 is irradiated with the electron beam from an electron beam irradiator 16 to sterilize the bottle. A ground electrode (a member for attracting electrons) 90 is disposed to be inserted into an inside of the resin vessel 2 through the mouth 2a thereof, and the electron beam is irradiated while the ground electrode 90 is inserted into the resin vessel 2. Since extra electrons or ions, which are generated by the irradiation to the resin vessel 2 with the electron beam, flow outside, a charge amount of the resin vessel 2 is alleviated.

An electron beam irradiation gun 40 comprises a gun body 41 to generate the electron beam and a nozzle 42 connected to the gun body 41. The nozzle 42 includes an electron beam passage 52 through which the electron beam generated in the gun body 41 passes and an exit 51 to emit the electron beam passed through the electron beam passage 52 to the outside. Further, an electron beam deflection magnet 35 generates a magnetic field to make the electron beam exiting from the exit 51 direct to the side face of the PET bottle PB stored in the cavity 24.
