摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of processing four-legged slaughter animals for consumption as meat and/or meat product(s).SOLUTION: The methods comprise: (I) bringing exterior surfaces of the live animal at least once into contact with a microbiocidal solution formed by mixing together at least (i) water and (ii) at least one N,N'-bromochloro-5,5-dialkylhydantoin, such contact occurring at least once when the animal is en route to being slaughtered but before it is killed by exsanguination; or (II) bringing the carcass of the animal, after exsanguination, into contact with a microbiocidal solution formed by mixing together at least (i) water and (ii) at least one N,N'-bromochloro-5,5-dialkylhydantoin; or (III) bringing at least one raw meat product and/or at least one processed meat product derived from the carcass into contact with a microbiocidal solution formed by mixing together at least (i) water and (ii) at least one N,N'-bromochloro-5,5-dialkylhydantoin. The contact can be done one or more times in each of (I), (II), and (III). Considerable advantages are realized when using such methods.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel method for extending mold-free shelf life and for improving the flavor of baked goods by applying live yeast on the surface of the baked good after baking and cooling before packaging the baked good in closed bags and storing the packaged baked goods at ambient temperature. This method can be used for all kinds of baked goods including breads, rolls, bagels, pizza crusts, wheat flour tortillas, croissants, cakes, muffins, donuts and pita breads.
