    • PURPOSE:To ensure that a material to be printed is protected against casual data printing on the rear and thereby satisfactory data printing is achieved by wiping off an extra ink image or an extra ink attaching to the surface of a fixing element using a fixing element cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:After printing process, a residual ink on or dust attaching to the surface of a photosensitive drum 6 is removed using a cleaning buff 13 as a transfer element cleaning device. Then the surface of the photosensitive drum 6 is irradiated using a reset lamp 14 as a transfer element regeneration device equipped with a reflective plate 15. Then the surface of the photosensitive drum 6 is restored to a pre-light beam 4 projection state. In addition, a transfer roller 11 is allowed to move to a cleaning position 11, where a sticking ink is wiped off or removed using a transfer roller cleaner 20 as a fixing element cleaning device. If the cleaning buff 13 or the transfer roller cleaner 20 is impregnated with a cleaning liquid containing surfactant, data print becomes more satisfactorily stable. Further, if microparticles are added to the transfer roller cleaner 20 in addition to the cleaning liquid, the transfer roller 11 can be cleaned more satisfactorily.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent dust and waste larger than the distance between a light transmitting means of an optical recorder or the optical input-output device and the surface of an optical recording medium and floating in air from getting into the recorder or input-output device so as to improve the reliability of the recorder or device by reducing the distance between the light transmitting means and the surface of the medium to less than a prescribed value by means of a relatively moving gas at least at the information recording time. CONSTITUTION:The optical head 5 of this optical input-output device is smoothly moved vertically or in a direction at a fixed angle against the vertical direction. When the head 5 is moved, an optical recording medium 1 is first moved in the direction shown by the arrow 4 at a speed of about 1-50m/sec in air of a fixed air pressure and a prescribed pressure is applied between the medium 1 and a back plate 3 by using a spring supporting the head 5 so that a stable air moving layer can form a gap 15 between the medium 1 and a slider 2. The gap 15 formed on the surface of the slider 2 facing the medium 1 is maintained at a fixed value of

    • PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized stable printer which does not need many ink distributing rollers by varying at least one of the fluidity and adhesive properties of ink by employing ultrasonic wave applying means or ultrasonic wave applying and temperature regulating means and printing. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a plate 1 is coated with ink 9 while regulating the rotating speed of an ink coating roller 8 or the pressure between the roller 8 in a developing unit 7 and the plate 1 so as to apply the ink 9 only to the part of the surface of the plate 1 whose wettability is selectively improved. In this case, when suitable vibration is applied in a frequency of 500-100kHz to the ink, the roller 8, an ink distributing roller 12 and an ink removing roller 13, the fluidity of the ink 9 is quickly improved, and the roller 8 can be rapidly and uniformly coated with the ink 9 with low load.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a simply structured miniature optical sensor or a switching element capable of controlling a current large in density by a method wherein an electrode whose composition consists of CuxSiyCzReuCrv, where x, y, z, u, and v are specified to be within a certain range of value, is formed at least on a part of a silicon semiconductor substrate of n-i-n structure. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 5 whose composition consists of CuxSiyCzReuCrv, where x, y, z, u, and v are so set as to satisfy the following equations, x=0.24-0.62, y=0.22-0.45, z=0.03-0.21, u=0.01-0.04, and v=0.01-0.03, is formed on a part of a silicon semiconductor element 3 of n-i-n structure. For instance, an aluminum electrode 2 is formed on a glass substrate 1 through vacuum evaporation, and an amorphous silicon layer 3 of n-i-n structure is formed thereon as thick as 0.8mum-1.5mum. Next, a resist layer is so formed as to constitute a circular hole 0.05-5mm in diameter or a square hole whose side is 0.1-5mm in length, and a conductive layer 5 consisting of the above composition is formed as thick as 1-100nm covering the above hole, and an electrode 6, which is provided with a hole and whose main component is aluminum, is formed.

    • PURPOSE:To perform high-speed precision laser beam machining by spraying fluid to a workpiece at a specific pressure, irradiating a laser beam, performing reaction on the surface of the substance to be worked and removing reaction product from the surface of the substance to be worked by spraying the fluid. CONSTITUTION:Gas or fluid in the shape of mist or a mixture with gas is sprayed to a ceramic plate (substance to be worked) 5 through a fluid injection tube (fluid injection means) 9 so that a pressure 1.3X10 Pa is obtained. While they are sprayed, the ceramic plate 5 is irradiated by the laser beam from a laser beam source 1 and a group of lenses 3 of a laser irradiating means corresponding to a worked shape at a suitable time, the reaction is performed mainly on the surface of the ceramic plate (substance to be worked) 5 to remove products on the ceramic plate 5 generated by the reaction by spraying of the fluid. By this method, a high-speed precision laser machining is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To form an ink flow path and a nozzle easily and simply by sticking a metallic film on at least one surface of the flow path by using a flexible cementing material in a head for an ink jet printer in which the ink flow path is shaped by employing plastics. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 7-3 and a piezoelectric vibrator 6-1 are bonded firmly on a plastic diaphragm 2-3 in succession, and covers one part of a flow path 3-1. A metallic film 20 is stuck to a section not covered with the metallic plate 7-3 on the plastic diaphragm 2-3 by employing flexible pressure sensitive adhesives 21. A film in thickness of 5mu-200mum consisting of aluminum, nickel, copper or the like is used as the metallic film, and a vinyl acetate group, an silicone rubber group or a chloroprene rubber group is employed as the pressure sensitive adhesives. Moisture steam 17-3 in ink, which passes through the metallic film 20 and evaporates and scatters, is reduced extremely. Residual stress on bonding is also minimized, thus removing a solvent cracking.
