    • PURPOSE:To provide a clothes dryer with stable characteristics capable of solving problems such as the wear of a flange on a rotating pulley which energizes a band shaped belt to transmit the rotating force from a driving device to a rotating drum in the clothes dryer, slipping of the band shaped belt, or abrasion dust, etc. CONSTITUTION:A coil spring 11 to enrgize a rotating pulley 9 which adds a tension to a band shaped belt 8 is provided, and by fastening the coil spring 11 to a location in the vicinity of a rotating pulley for a wire 10 to hold the rotating pulley 9, a distance between the position on the wire 10, at which a tension to the band shaped belt 8 is added, i.e., the working point, and the fastening point of the coil spring 11, i.e., the power point, can be made smaller, and therefore, the distortion of the wire 10 can be prevented from happening. In addition, since the coil spring 11 is fastened to an attaching plate 13 and the tension mechanism is integrated, the tension of the rotating pulley 9 or the alignment of the band shaped belt 8 can be stabilized, and the flange of the rotating pulley 9 is prevented from being worn out, and at the same time, a clothes dryer which causes less slipping or has less abrasion dust of the band shaped belt 8 can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce noises of air and prevent breakage of a belt for driving a double impeller fan, by providing suction holes for cooling air on the sound- insulating plate provided at the backside plate of a fan case and forming a bend bent to the opposite direction to the suction direction, in the endface of the suction air holes. CONSTITUTION:This dryer comprises a rotary drum 2 arranged in an external frame 1, a rear plate 3 covering the rear part of the external frame 1, a double impeller fan 4 generating circulating air and cooling air and also heat- exchanging the circulating air and the cooling air, and a fan case 9 containing the double impeller fan 4 so as to separate the circulating air from the cooling air. A sound-insulating plate 17 having the suction air holes 17a for the cooling air in the rear plate 3 side of the fan case 9 and a bend 17b bent to the opposite direction to the suction air direction is formed at the endface of the suction air holes 17a. And a belt 15 driving the double impeller fan 4 is drawn from the suction air holes 17a. As a result, the air noises can be reduced and the damage and breakage of the driving belt of the double impeller fan can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately communicate the information of sterilization effect to a user by providing a first thermosensitive means whereby a temperature of circulating-air out of a rotary drum is measured, and by providing a second thermosensitive means whereby a temperature of the circulating-air after heat-exchange, is measured. CONSTITUTION:After clothing are thrown in, the title machine revolves both a rotary drum 1 and a heat-exchanging means 3, and an electric current is applied to a heating source 4 and then a drying process begins to start. A temperature of ciculating-air exhansted from a rotary drum 1 is measured by a first thermosensitive means, and a temperature of the circulating-air, of which the moisture is removed after heat-exchange of the circulating-air for onter air, is measured by a second thermosensitive means. After that, a difference between both of measured temperatures is found by a measuring means 13. When it is decided by decision means 12, 14 that a constant drying rate period begins to start, a control means 15 operates a communication means 16, and in the constant drying rate period, the temperature and humidity are high and the temperature in the rotary drum 1 reaches a sterilizing temperature and the temperature difference is almost definite. At the same time, when it is decided by a decision means 17 that a temperature in the drum reaches a specified value or higher, it is controlled through through a control means 18 that electricity is turned on to the heating source 4. In this way, ideal sterilization effect can be obtained.
