    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust projection amount of a torque pin with keeping impressed pressure constant, by adding the impressed pressure corresponding to a governor force in a torque-up metering region with a spindle corresponding member, when a torque-up device placed between two levers in a centrifugal governor is adjusted. SOLUTION: A bearing portion 22 of an adjusting device 20 journals an oscillation fulcrum 1c of a lever 1, and another lever 2 is set on a load table 23. At this time, projection amount of a torque pin 13 is zero, and a dial gauge 32 is set to zero. A spindle 30 is loaded on a load member 29, and impressed pressure F corresponding to a governor force in a torque-up metering region is added to the lever 1 via a slide rod 28. A pressure adjusting screw 14 is fastened looking at the dial gauge 32 to set the projection amount of the torque pin 13. An application point of the impressed pressure F added at each of spindle corresponding members 28-30 is placed at a neighboring position with same rotation radius to the torque pin 13, using the oscillation fulcrum 1c of the lever 1 as a center of angular moment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb an error between the vertical dimension of a cavity and the vertical dimension of a base in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A main combustion chamber 2 is provided in a cylinder 1, a cavity 4 facing the main combustion chamber 2 is provided in a cylinder head 3, a divided combustion chamber 6 is formed by fitting a base 5 into the cavity 4 and a groove 17 is formed in the base 5 on its barrel outer periphery 7b to be easily compressed and deformed in a vertical direction. The base 5, before fitted and assembled therein, is machined in such a manner that the dimension of the base 5 from the lower end 8b of a flange 8 to the front end 7a of a barrel is properly longer than the dimension L1 from the lower face 3b of the cylinder head to the inner-side stepped face 14. Then, the base 5 is fitted and assembled into the cavity 4, the front end 7a of the barrel is put in press contact with the inner-side stepped face 7b and the outer periphery 7b of the barrel in which the groove 17 is formed is compressed and deformed so that the dimension from the lower end face 8b of the flange 8 to the front end 7a of the barrel can correspond to the dimension L1 from the lower face 3b of the cylinder head to the inner-side stepped face 14.
