    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated by engagement and to improve reliability by providing a shock absorbers on an outer periphery of a footstep chain roller, constituting the shock absorbers on a protruded part with an optional interval and arranging it so that height of the protruded part differs. SOLUTION: Shock absorbers 11a, 11b are provided on an outer periphery of a footstep chain roller 5. A plural number of the protruded parts 11a having step differences h2 are provided in the inside of width W of the footstep chain roller 5, and a plural number of the protruded parts 11b protruded by h1 from surface of the shock absorbers are provided against them. The height h1, h2 is to be dimensions in consideration of deformation quantity at the time when the extreme outside protruded part 11a collides against a tooth bottom surface 4a of a footstep sprocket 4. Width W1 of the protruded parts 11a is made to be roughly the same as width W2 of the protruded parts 11b or larger. Additionally, spring rigidity of the protruded parts 11a and the protruded parts 11b can be different from each other. Consequently, even when an engagement position of the footstep chain roller 5 and the footstep sprocket 4 is changed, it is possible to extensively reduce noise due to an engagement shock.

SOLUTION: When a specified footstep 5 shifts, a pair of guide rollers 19A and 19B contact with the stepped parts 12E of the guide rails 12A and 12B in a pair of a lower engaging device 9, and leads the specified stepped footstep 5 to the guide rails 12A and 12B, and also the guide roller 19A is displaced by the dimension L1 of difference in level of the stepped part 12E. A rocking arm 20 is rotated in a direction B, and an arm 25 for a roller is displaced in a direction C with the shaft 27 as a fulcrum, and a pawl 26 is pulled apart from a gear 13 for lock. Furthermore, when the specified footstep 5 shifts, a gear 16 engages with the rack 11 of the lower engaging device 9, and it rotates the gear 8, and projects a coupling to the side of the footstep adjoining on the lower stage, and couples it to the rear side of the footboard, and stops the shifting of the footstep.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily feed electric power to driving apparata respectively built in a plural number of steps by feeding electric power to the separated driving apparata from the step having an electric power receiving part. SOLUTION: When there is a command of wheelchair driving to an upper part getting on-and-off part from a lower part getting on-and-off part by specific steps 3, 4 on which feeders 19, 20 to driving apparata 13, 15 are laid, the specific steps 3, 4 stopn at a constant position of the lower part getting on-and-off part. Thereafter, a connecting element 17 of a feeding plug 16 rises, and electric connection with a receiving plug 18 of the specific step 3 is carried out. After completion of connection of the feeding plug 16 and the receiving plug 18 is confirmed, electric power is fed, the driving apparatus 13 is driven and raises an extended step plate 8 to a specified position. Thereafter, a second step plate 10 is extended, a bumper 11 on a free end of the second step plate 10 is inclined to the side of a getting-on floor LF, a bumper 9a of a first step plate 9 is lifted upward and the driving apparatus 13 stands by. Simultaneously, electric power is fed to the driving apparatus 15 of the specific step 4, too, and inclination of an inclined step plate 14 is permitted. Consequently, it is possible to easily feed electric power to the driving apparatus built in the step.
