    • PURPOSE:To obtain a controller of an induction motor for a vehicle having excellent adhesive performance by stepwisely increasing a slip frequency after slipping is finished. CONSTITUTION:A frequency calculator 12 outputs any of pulse generator outputs f1, f2 are a reference frequency fR. On the other hand, a slip detector 11 inputs the outputs f1, f2, detects slipping by an acceleration or the time change of acceleration, and outputs a slipping detection signal SLP. A pattern reduction controller 13 outputs a pattern reduction amount DELTAf for reducing a slip frequency pattern fSP when a slipping detection signal SLP is applied. When the slipping is finished so that the signal SLP is not detected, the controller 13 first outputs a pattern reduction amount DELTAf so as to become 1/2 of the slipping frequency fS before detecting the slipping. Then, it is returned to the value before detecting the slipping.

    • PURPOSE:To enable driving operation of the electric car without any special resetting operation when supplied-power voltage is restored after the main circuit is interrupted by the fall of the supplied-power voltage of the electric car by providing a means for automatically resetting a supplied-power voltage detector. CONSTITUTION:When the supplied-power voltage of the electric car falls below a prescribed value due to separation from a power line while the car is driven, the relay contact LVR of the supplied-power voltage detecting means is turned off and thereby a main-motor circuit is interrupted from the supplied-power circuit from a collector. Then, when the supplied-power voltage returns to the prescribed value, LVR is also turned on, and if a master controller MC is retained in the state ''on'', a driver can continue the control of the electric car by MC without any special operation. In the case when the supplied-power voltage is not restored to the prescribed value for a long time due to a trouble of a power-supply system and the like, the driver returns MC to the position of ''off'' for safety. When the voltage is restored to the prescribed value and MC is turned on by the driver, however, a relay coil R for resetting is actuated and the detecting means can be reset only by usual operation of MC without any special manual resetting operation for the supplied-power voltage detecting means.
