    • PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive pressure-sensitive recording sheet which undergoes little fogging in printing and having an excellent copying property, wherein a paper incorporating succinic acid (salt) having a specified alkenyl or alkyl group as an internal sizing agent is used as a support.
      CONSTITUTION: Succinic acid (salt) having a 4W18C, preferably 8W14C (10C is optimum) alkenyl or alkyl group (e.g., n-decenylsuccinic acid) is incorporated into a pulp slurry as an internal sizing agent, preferably in an amount of 0.1W2% (to pulp), and paper making is conducted by adding a fixing agent such as aluminum sulfate, as required, to obtain a support for a pressure-sensitive recording sheet. Microcapsules containing a color former are applied to one side of the support, and a color developer is applied to the other side of the support to obtain an intermediate-sheet paper, which is sandwiched between an upper- sheet paper and a lower-sheet paper to obtain the pressure-sensitive recording sheet.
      EFFECT: Fogging at printing is suppressed even when a metallic salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid is used.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording paper which affords a clear and high density recording image at a high speed operation free from sticking between a thermal head and a heat sensitive color developing layer and piling on the thermal head with a specific internal hole capacity and density. CONSTITUTION:80pts. of LBKP and 20pts. of NBKP are beaten at a Canada standard freeness of 320cc and made a base paper at a basic weight of 45g/m with a Fourdrivier paper machine after 1pt. of rosin and 2pts. of aluminum sulfate are added thereto. Then, the wire side of a wet paper passing through a press section is pressed dry on a Yankee dryer with a surface temperature of 120 deg.C down to 8% in the water content and undergoes a machine calendering to finish a base paper to be coated. A mixed liquid of a coupler, a developer, a filler and the like is applied thereon and dried to produce the intended heat sensitive recording paper whose hole capacity within a bore diameter of 3-0.1mu is above 20% of the overall hole capacity with a density of less than 0.9g/cm .

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled material excellent in a color developing speed and ink receiving property comprising a developing layer containing a bisphenol compound and a layer containing a color coupling agent, an aromatic and a praffinic hydrocarbon solvent and a specific diester of an aliphatic acid in microcapsules. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensitive recording material comprising (A) a color developing layer containing a bisphenol compound [2,2-bis(4'-hydroxylphenyl) propane is preferred] and (B) a layer constituted by a method wherein (a) a color coupling agent (e.g.; crystal violet or the like) is dissolved in a solvent comprising (b) an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent (e.g.; xylyl phenyl ethane or the like), (c) a paraffinic solvent (e.g.; isoparaffin or the like) and (d) an aliphatic diester compound (e.g.; dimethyl adipate or dimethyl succinate is preferred) and the obtained solution is subjected to encapsulation. Moreover, the component (c) is 10-150wt% against the component (b) and the component (d) is preferably added to the solvent in an amount of 0.5-10wt%. EFFECT:This recording material is inexpensive and hardly stained due to printing fog.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the recording material excellent in light-resisting property and the speed of color development by using a polyvalent metal salt of aromatic carboxylic acid as a developer and further using the specific alkali metal salt of aliphatic monocarboxylic acid together. CONSTITUTION:In the recording material wherein a developed color image is obtained through the reaction of an electron-donating color former with an electron- accepting developer, the polyvalent metal salt of aromatic carboxylic acid, preferably, a material of C19 or more. e.g. the zinc salt of 3, 5-di(alpha-methylbenzyl) salicylic acid or the like, is used as the developer and, moreover, the alkali metal salt of aliphatic monocarboxylic acid of C8-30, preferably, sodium salt or kalium salt of the material of C10-20, is used together, thus the aimed recording material being obtained. In addition, it is preferable to use the inorganic pigment such as barium carbonate, powder of silica or the like jointly for this recording material.
