Water-repellent processing is performed in a sidewall outside the sealing material 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive electrode substrate having excellent anticorrosiveness and that is low in cost, to provide a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element using the same, and to provide a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element and a dye-sensitized solar battery module that is configured by a plastic substrate that is light in weight and less likely to be broken.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element has a photoelectrode 15 to which a dye-sensitized porous semiconductor particle layer 14 is formed, an electrolyte layer 16, and a counter electrode consisting of a conductive electrode substrate having a catalytic action, in this order on a conductive electrode substrate. The conductive electrode substrate is obtained by laminating a nano-carbon layer consisting of fibrous carbon with a nanometer-sized diameter on the substrate. Also provided is a dye-sensitized solar battery.
