    • PURPOSE:To obtain true air flow rate by correcting air flow signal with air temperature signal obtained by operating the signal of air flowmeter. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a hot time type air flowmeter 100 is input in an engine control circuit 101 to obtain air temperature signal 103 and flow rate signal. From the electric potential at both ends of an air temperature probe, the resistance value of the air temperature probe is obtained through a computer operation and from the resistance, the air temperature is obtained. By using the relation between the flow rate signal and air flow signal stored in a memory in advance, conversion from the flow rate signal to air flow rate is executed with interpolation operation in an air flow rate converter 104. In air temperature corrector 105, by using the table of correction factor of air temperature on X-axis and air flow rate on Y-axis stored in a memory, the correction factor is found at the air flow signal for the converter 104 and air temperature signal for the signal 103. By multiplying the air flow signal from the converter 104 and the correction factor, the true air flow rate is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy of air flow, by providing a humidity detecting device in an air passage or in an air cleaner, detecting the humidity of the flowing-in air so as to decide the correcting amount, and correcting the output signal of an air flow rate measuring device. CONSTITUTION:In the same air passage, a hygrometer, a heating resistor, and a heat sensitive resistor are provided, a heating resistor signal 5, a heat sensitive resistor signal 6, and humidity detecting device signal 7 are taken in to a CPU, and the air flow rate found from the heating resistor signal 5 and the heat sensitive resistor signal 6 lay applying an operation process is corrected by the humidity detecting device signal 7, and it is output as an output signal 4 after the humidity correction. Consequently, by adding the humidity which is an important parameter of the air together with the air pressure and the temperature, the measuring accuracy of the air flow rate, especially the measuring accuracy at the variation of the ambiance, can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out zero adjustment and span adjustment independently by providing an output regulating circuit with a subtractor having one input receiving an output signal from an amplifier and the other input terminal receiving reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor 1 and a temperature-sensitive resistor 2 are set in an air channel 30. A reference resistor 4 for converting the current flowing through the resistor 1 into a voltage and resistors 5, 6, 7 constitute a bridge circuit. The bridge circuit and the resistors 1, 2 control a transistor 3 through differential amplifiers 8, 9 so that the resistor 1 constantly exhibits a predetermined temperature with respect to the air temperature. Consequently, the current flowing through the resistor, and thereby the terminal voltage V0 thereof, varies according to the air flow rate when the temperature of the resistor 1 is controlled at a constant level. An output signal is delivered from a noninverted amplifier 11 to one input terminal of a subtractor 18 in an output regulating circuit 101 having the other input terminal receiving an output from a voltage follower 21 for maintaining a constant reference voltage. Consequently, zero- adjustment can be effected independently of span adjustment.
