摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting the yield of bentonite, by which the yield of the bentonite can be adjusted to a prescribed yield in response to the employment purpose of a bentonite mud, thus reducing the employment amount of the expensive bentonite and lowering the cost for producing the mud, by adding and mixing inexpensive calcium carbonate as a filler to the bentonite powder in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This method for adjusting the yield of bentonite comprises adding and mixing 10 to 90 wt.% of calcium carbonate as a filler to bentonite powder. The bentonite powder is mixed with the calcium carbonate within the compounding range in response to an employment purpose to obtain the bentonite having a prescribed yield. Namely, in response to a prescribed expansion force, the ratio of the bentonite is adjusted to obtain a prescribed yield. The calcium carbonate as the filler is inexpensive, is widely used in the paper industry, and so on, and can adjust the yield of the bentonite without changing the chemical components and chemical characteristics of the bentonite. Thereby, the yield of the bentonite can be adjusted by the addition of the calcium carbonate for an employment purpose that even the bentonite having a low yield is sufficient, thus enabling the large reduction in the production cost.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition most suitable for a self-hardening additive with high strength after hardening without detriment to the initial flowability by incorporating a thickening component or a thickening component together with an admixture into a hydraulic component as a main component. SOLUTION: This composition comprises preferably 50-90 wt.% of a hydraulic component (A), 10-50 wt.% of a thickening component (B), 0-20 wt.% of an admixture (C). The component (A) is cement or a mixture of cement with slag or fly ash, and the component (B) is bentonite or clay and the component (C) comprises a viscous adjuvant, fluidizing agent or a retarder. As the viscous adjuvant is employed a viscous organic compound such as carboxymethyl cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, etc., and as the fluidizing agent is employed a high mol.wt. compound for cement or concrete. The amounts of tricalcium aluminate and tetracalcium aluminoferrite contained in the component (A) are 2-7wt.% and 2-13 wt.%, respectively, and add up to 5-16 wt.%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of slurry by a method wherein the specific gravity are concentration of slurry for excavation, to which a dispersant is added, and detected and compared with an objective value, and the consumption of the dispersant is arithmetically operated and supplemented while the specific gravity of slurry is followed to the objective value. CONSTITUTION:The concentration of a dispersant is detected 8 and the specific gravity of slurry is detected 12 in a circulating tank 2 regarding slurry 1b flowing back from an excavating section 100. The concentration of the dispersant is compared with a control objective value in a specific-gravity adjusting section 10, and the consumption of the dispersant is arithmetically operated and the dispersant is supplemented by a supplementing device 11. The specific gravity of slurry is compared with a control objective value in a comparison adjusting section 13, and water 5, slurry 1d, etc., are replenished and specific gravity is adjusted. Accordingly, the deteriotation of the quality of slurry is prevented, thus improving the efficiency of excavation.
