      SOLUTION: The multi-pot type disc brake 1 comprises a plurality of pistons 3a, 3b and a caliper 2 in which a plurality of cylinder parts 2a, 2b holding the plurality of pistons 3a, 3b are juxtaposed. All of cylinder parts 2a, 2b are formed with grooves 2a3, 2b3 enlarging cylinder diameters in a region on the bottom part 2a1, 2b1 side. One groove 2b3 out of the grooves 2a3, 2b3 of the cylinder parts 2a, 2b is constituted to be shorter in axial length from the bottom part 2a1, 2b1 side of the cylinder parts 2a, 2b in comparison with the groove 2a3 of the other cylinder part 2a, and the piston 3b inserted in the cylinder part 2b having the groove 2b3 is constituted to be smaller in a tilt allowable angle to the caliper 2 in comparison with the piston 3a inserted in the other cylinder part 2a.
