The sheet peeling device 10 includes: cutting means 16 for cutting the base sheet and adhesive layer; payoff means 12 for paying off the peeling tape PT; sticking means 14 for sticking the peeling tape PT on the adhesive sheet S; and moving means 15 capable of peeling the adhesive sheet S by moving the wafer W and peeling tape PT relatively. The cutting means 16 is so provided as to cut the adhesive sheet S into a plurality of division sheets by making a cut whose ends both reach outer edges of the base sheet respectively.
