摘要： PURPOSE:To inexpensively compose an inverter which has large capacity by employing a rotary switch in which conductive liquid is sealed in an annular passage. CONSTITUTION:An annular passage 2 has outer peripheral side electrodes 7B, 7C and an inner peripheral side electrode 7A, and mercury particles 8 and magnetic fluid 9 are sealed as conductive liquids therein to construct a steady unit 1. Rotary plates 14, 14' are provided at the unit 1, permanent magnets 16, 17 are respectively mounted at the plates 14, 14' to move along the passage 2, and when the magnets 16, 17 are rotated together with the plates 14, 14', mercury particles 8 are pressed to rigid portion 9A to turn and flow in the passage 2. Thus, the electrodes 7A, 7B or 7A, 7C are shortcircuited by the mercury flow 8 to open or close the electric circuit.
