    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submersible motor capable of continuous operation for an extended time without damaging a coil, of which the heat generated at the coil is efficiently released to outside through a motor casing.
      SOLUTION: The submersible motor comprises a stator 11 and a rotor 12 housed in a motor casing 10. A coil 13 attached to the stator 11 is covered with an elastic body 45 which is covered with a resin 46. The resin 46 is tightly contacted to the inside surface of the motor casing 10. So the heat generated at the coil 13 is radiated outside through the elastic body 45, the resin 46, and the motor casing 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-priming pump shortened in air discharge time and reduced in size and weight as compared with a self-priming pump of a conventional structure by enhancing self-priming performance. SOLUTION: In this self-priming pump, a water storage space 40 for storing water at the time of stopping a pump is provided between a suction port 10a and an impeller 16. The water storage space 40 is formed into a volute shape continuously extending from the suction port 10a and gradually reducing cross-sectional area along a rotating direction of the pump, and is provided with a flow passage enlarging part 24 arranged to be inclined upward toward a discharge port 10b in the wake of a discharge volute 22 to store the impeller 16. A return flow passage 26 opening in the vicinity of a rear end of the discharge volute 22 or a part 25 of the flow passage enlarging part 24, going up after lowering up to a position below an axial center height of the pump, and opening toward the center of the impeller 16 at the axial center height position of the pump.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater motor pump device that can downsize and lighten the entire device, prevent a pump and a floating body from being tangled with a rope due to strong wind, be easily positioned and fixed on a water surface and be secure from an accident such as overturn.
      SOLUTION: In this underwater motor pump, a water passage is formed within a floating body 17 made from a resin material, having the specific gravity smaller than that of water, a mixed flow or axial flow pump body 11 incorporating an underwater motor having a guide vane shell 13 is fixed within the water passage, an assembly 10 of the floating body 17 and the mixed or axial flow pump body 11 is floated on a water surface, and the pump body 11 takes in water around the water surface to send it to the land through a water-supply pipe. Either or both of a suction bell on the upstream of an impeller 14 of the pump body 11 and the outer casing of the shell 13 is formed on the inner surface of the body 17 and an water-supply end of the pipe is attached to the outer port of the water passage of the body 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage pump apparatus in which a part of a ceiling of a pump suction passage is lowered, capable of quickly responding to a rise of water level in a suction water tank and draining by starting a pump to drain when water starts to flow into the suction water tank and the water level in the suction water tank rises so that a part of a pump impeller is submerged. SOLUTION: This drainage pump apparatus includes a pump 3, wherein when the water level in the suction water tank 1 reaches a designated water level, a part of the impeller 9 of the pump 3 is submerged and the other part is in a higher position than the suction water surface to be exposed to the air, and a lower portion of a ceiling of the suction passage of the pump 3 is lower than the suction water surface. This apparatus is provided with a water supply means for supplying water to the part exposed to the air of the impeller 9 of the pump 3, whereby when the water level in the suction water tank 1 reaches the designated water level, the pump is started with water supplied to the portion exposed to the air of the impeller 9 of the pump 3 by the water supply means.
