    • PURPOSE:To relieve the stress load onto a disk medium by adhering a magnetic substance to a substance having a smaller elastic rate than that of a disk medium such as a rubber material so as to absorb the thermal expansion difference between the magnetic substance and the nonmagnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic substance 7 is adhered to a polycarbonate made optical disk 1 formed such as a circle, the magnetic substance 7 is formed incorporatedly by a insert forming of a rubber material 5, after alignment to a disk track, the substance is adhered by an adhesives. The linear expansion coefficient of the magnetic substance 7 used for a magnet clamp (magnet chuck type clamp) is smaller in the order of one digit than that of the plastic material 6 as the optical disk medium in general, and the optical disk medium is expanded by heat in using the disk 1 at a high temperature, and the rubber material 5 is expanded similarly. On the other hand, since the magnetic substance 76 has smaller expansion than that of the plastic 6, a hearing stress is caused in the rubber material 5 and the elastic elongation of the rubber material 5 is caused. Thus, the shear stress onto the disk medium is reduced, then the change in the double refraction of the disk 1 and the bent disk are reduced or prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To quickly and surely discriminate two tracks to be subjected to reproduction scanning, by respectively providing track discriminating signal areas in a luminance signal recording area and color difference signal recording area and giving the same number to the guide tracks of the same order. CONSTITUTION:In the outer peripheral section of an optical disk 1 a luminance signal recording area 2 is provided and a color difference signal recording area 4 is provided at the inside of the area 2. The 1st track discriminating signal area 3 is provided in a part of the area 2 the 2nd track discriminating signal area 5 is provided in a part of the area 4. A series of track numbers are separately given to the areas 3 and 5 from the inner peripheral sections to the outer peripheral sections in the order of guide tracks. It is desirable to add codes to the tracks numbers in order to eliminate malfunctions of a track retrieval. Moreover, it is possible to provide a separating area 6 between the areas 2 and 4, to form the 3rd track discriminating area 7 in a part of the area 6, and to give a series of track numbers which has no relation with the track numbers of the areas 3 and 5 to the area 7. It is also possible to provide a separating area 8 having no guide track.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the transcription properties in an injection molding or injection compression molding mode by setting the ratio between the width of an address bit and a tracking pitch at 1/8-1/4. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk is produced by coating a phase transfer type recording films, e.g., Sb2Se3 and Bi films which absorb the laser light to change their optical characteristics including the reflection factor, the transmittance, the diffractive index, etc. on the surface of a plastic substrate 3 of acrylic substance, polycarbonate, etc. containing an address bit 1 having the depth of 1/8 wavelength of the semiconductor laser light for record/reproduction and a guide groove 2. The ratio W/P between the width W of the bit 1 and the groove 2 and the track pitch P is set at 1/8-1/4. As a result, the transcription properties of the address bit are improved in an injection molding or injection compression molding mode. Furthermore the level of an address reproduction signal level is also raised up to secure the accurate demodulation of an address.

    • PURPOSE: To set a head to a non-contacted condition with a tape so as to prevent the tape from being vibrated, by forming a magnetic film on one side of a base body, on the other side of which a recording film is formed, and attracting the magnetic film to a cylinder, and then, providing an information record reading out head opposing to the tape with the cylinder in between.
      CONSTITUTION: An optical recording tape 1 is provided with a magnetic film 4 formed by vacuum-depositing a magnetic substance, such as nickel, cobalt, etc., on one side of a base body 2, on the other side of which a recording film 3 is formed. The optical recording tape 1 is brought into contact with a cylinder which rotates at a peripheral speed (of the outer periphery) equal to the running speed of the tape 1 and is made of a resin, such as acrylic resin, polycarbonate, etc., and a transparent head 7 for recording and reading out information by means of irradiated lights 8 is provided at the outer periphery of the cylinder 5. A magnet 6 facing to the head 7 is provided in the cylinder 5 and the optical recording tape 1 is closely contacted with the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder 5 by means of the attracting force of the magnet 6 and the tape 1 is run under the closely contacted condition.

The recording film 8 is protected by a protective layer 4 of SiO2, AI2O3 or resin, etc. The information recording medium having high recording property and good stability is thus formed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a mother disc from which plural stampers are obtained and where monitoring at laser recording is possible and the shape of pit is excellent by performing prescribed processes after forming sequentially the 1st metallic layer, a synthetic resin layer and the 2nd metallic layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The 1st metallic layer 22, the synthetic resin layer 23 made of a positive photoresist, and the 2nd metallic layer 24 are formed sequentially on the substrate 21 made of glass or the like. The thickness of the metallic layer 22 is selected as the pit depth and the total thickness of the synthetic resin layer 23 and the metallic layers is selected as 1/4 of the wavelength of monitor light. Then, a laser beam modulated by a video signal is irradiated in the form of pattern on the metallic layer 24 to remove the metallic layer 24 and the synthetic resin layer 23 of the irradiated part. After the metallic layer 22 is etched by sputtering by using the pattern as a mask, the synthetic resin layer 23 and the metallic layer 24 are removed. Then, a thin layer 26 made of Cr or the like is formed, a metal 27 is plated, and then the plated layer 27 is exfoliated, thereby obtaining the mother disc from which plural stampers are obtained with excellent pit forms.
