摘要： PURPOSE: To easily form a water-insoluble oxide film on the surface of an alloy and to suppress the elution of the material of a spring when used in high- temp. water by adding Zr to a precipitationhardened nickel alloy. CONSTITUTION: A precipitation-hardened nickel alloy contg. 0.05-0.15wt.% Zr and preferably further contg. 0.6-1.0wt.% Al is shaped into a spring and then heat-treated in an oxidizing atmosphere at 600-900 deg.C to form an oxide film on the surface. More preferably, an alloy contg., by weight, 14.0-17.0% Cr, 0.05-0.15% Fe, 0.05-0.15% Zr, 0.6-1.0% Al, 2.0-3.0% Ti, 0.5-1.5% Nb and the balance Ni is shaped into a spring and then heat-treated in an oxidizing atmosphere at 620-750 deg.C.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a channel box in which corrosion resistance and creep deformation characteristics are optimized by using a Zr alloy containing specific amounts of Nb, Sn, and Mo and also specifying hot rolling temp., temp. of annealing between cold working stages, hardening temp., and heat-treatment conditions after assembly by welding. CONSTITUTION:A refined ingot of an alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.5-2.5% Nb, 0.5-2.0% Sn, 0.1-1.0% Mo, and the balance Zn is forged at a temp. in a beta-phase temp. region. The resulting forged stock is heated up to a temp. in the beta-phase temp. region again and cooled rapidly to undergo solution heat treatment. Subsequently, the above stock is hot-rolled at about 650-750 deg.C and subjected to alternate repetition of cold rolling and annealing at about 550-650 deg.C, which is then heated up to about 790-870

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a Zr-base alloy member free from nodular corrosion and white corrosion and having high ductility, by subjecting a Zr-Sn-Nb-Mo alloy to solution heat treatment by rapid cooling, by applying cold working and intermediate heat treatment, and then by subjecting the above to final cold working and ageing treatment. CONSTITUTION:The Zr-Sn-Nb-Mo alloy is subjected to solution heat treatment consisting of rapid cooling from its (alpha+beta)-phase temp. or beta-phase temp. range. Subsequently, the above alloy is subjected to cold working of at least about 15% draft and then to intermediate heat treatment consisting of heating up to a high-temp. alpha-phase temp. range of eutectoid temp. or above to be recrystallization temp. or above and rapid cooling. The above cold working and intermediate heat treatment are repeatedly applied to the above alloy once or more so as to form a granular recrystallized structure. The above alloy is subjected to final cold working and then to ageing treatment in a low-temp. alpha-phase temp. range of eutectoid temp. or below so as to precipitate beta-Nb and also to form fine crystalline grains. This Zr-base alloy member is free from nodular corrosion and white etching corrosion in aweld zone and has high ductility, so that it can be used for constitution of fuel assembly for light water reactor, etc.

CONSTITUTION:The zirconium-base alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 1-2% Sn, 0.2-0.35% Fe, 0.03-0.16% Ni, and the balance Zr and satisfying Fe/Ni=1.4-8 and also has a structure in which the intermetallic compound of Sn and Ni is precipitated in the zirconium grains in the alpha-phase. It is preferable that, besides the Sn-Ni intermetallic compound, an intermetallic compound of Fe, Ni, and Zr is also precipitated in the zirconium grains in the alpha-phase.
