    • PURPOSE:To prevent any crack and deterioration of a title structure both due to thermal stress by providing a heat insulation member on the surface of a member constituting the title structure, and altering the thickness of the heat insulation member in order to control the amount of heat transferred to a flame holder as needed. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulation member 8 having a smaller heat conductivity than that of chief members of a flame holder 1 is provided on the surface of a flame holder device end 2 being the surface to be heated and facing the flame. The thickness of the heat insulation member 8 is altered radially and circumferentially according to the distribution of the amount of heat transferred from the flame holding device end 2 to control the amount of heat transferred to the flame holder 1 for uniforming the temperature distribution in the flame holder 1. Simultaneously, the wall thickness of a flame holder body 1 is uniformed with respect to a flame surface so as to uniform the heat capacity of the flame holder 1. Hereby, the surface area for reception of heat is increased. The surface area for reception of heat is thus increased, whereby the density of the transferred heat from the surface to be heated is reduced to uniformhu the temperature distribution in the flame holder 1. Thus, the amount of the heat entering the flame holder 1 is interrupted or reduced without affecting the flame holding performance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a gas turbine burner which is capable of carrying out stabilized premixing combustion even under lean side combustion state advantageous to the reduction in NOx and high speed conditions by bending forcibly a premixed jet stream and enlarging a circulating flow region on the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:A main combustion 5, which is larger than a sub-combustion chamber 4 in diameter, is installed. On the head of the sub-combustion chamber 4 is installed a first stage fuel nozzle 7, while a second stage premixing fuel nozzle 10, and a revolving device 8 are installed to an enlarged section which is communicated with the main combustion chamber 5. A main chamber side wall 11 near the outlet of the revolving device 8 forms a recessed part 15 based on a combination of a reduction part 12, a drastic enlarges part 13, and a circulating part 14 on an after stream side, and further forms air cooling structure by adopting a double wall layer. A part of premixed jet air stream 29 is bent at a reduced section 12 toward the central part 33, which enlarges the region of circulating stream 34 induced inside the recessed part 15 larger than it looked and promotes the reaction of combustion.

    • PURPOSE:To stably burn a premixed flame on the side of a dilute mixed gas under a high-speed condition by providing a barrier member with respect to a premixed gas flow in the vicinity of an outlet part of an annular premixed flow passage thereby to form a stable flame in a recirculation flow region at the downstream of the barrier member. CONSTITUTION:An annular flow passage formed by an inner peripheral flow passage wall 6 and an outer peripheral flow passage wall 6 of the burner is partitioned peripherally by a flame holding plate 7. A second stage fuel is supplied to respective partitioned flow passages, and a premixed gas is supplied to a main chamber combustion cylinder 1. Further, a flame holding plate 7 at the outlet part of the annular flow passage is tapered toward the side of the inner peripheral flow passage wall, and a barrier member 8 is provided at the downstream inner peripheral flow-passage wall of the flame holding plate 7. This barrier member 8 is provided over the entire periphery of the inner peripheral flow passage wall. Thereby, immediately after passing of a part of the premixed gas flow along the inner peripheral flow passage wall 5 through the barrier member 8, the flow passage rapidly expands to create an exfoliation and to form a recirculation flow. In this recirculation flow, a stable small flame is formed since the staying time of the premixed gas is long, thus the stability of the main flow flame being improved.
