    • PURPOSE:To enable execution of a wide-range heating operation being excellent in an operation efficiency and free from noise or a signal by controlling a speed of rotation of a fan of an outdoor unit in accordance with a speed of reduction in the speed of rotation determined by calculating a rising speed of temperature, when a temperature based on a temperature signal is a second temperature or above which is lower than a first temperature, and by making changeover to a peak cut control when said temperature is the first temperature or above. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 11 of an indoor unit reads a refrigerant temperature detection signal from a thermistor T for detecting the high-pressure side temperature of a refrigerant and delivers the signal to a microcomputer 12 of an outdoor unit. When the high-pressure side temperature of the refrigerant based on the read temperature signal is a second temperature or above, the microcomputer 12 of the outdoor unit calculates a speed of change in the speed of rotation of a fan of the outdoor unit and others and controls the speed of rotation of a fan motor 14 of the outdoor unit. When the high-pressure side temperature of the refrigerant based on the temperature signal read in a control switching means is a first temperature or above which is higher than the second temperature, at least two of a heater, a fan of the indoor unit, a compressor and the fan of the outdoor unit are controlled sequentially and a peak cut control for lowering the high-pressure side pressure of the refrigerant is conducted.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation in a discharge temperature to a room of an air conditioner by a method wherein during over load running, compression capacity control operation of a compressor is effected so that a condensing temperature or a vaporizing temperature at a heat exchanger on the utilization side are maintained approximately at a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 10 on the heat source side and a heat exchanger 23 on the utilization side are connected to a compressor 1, compression capacity of which is variable, so that cooling circulation is practicable to form a heat pump system. The compressor 1 is run by means of compression capacity matching the demand load of the heat exchanger 23 on the utilization side through the working of an operation control means 49. An overload state amount of the heat exchanger 23 on the utilization side is detected by an overload detecting means 26. Operation of the compressor 1 is controlled by a control means 50 during overload running so that a preceding allowable state amount is maintained at a detecting overload state amount when an overload state amount of the heat exchanger 23 on the utilization side is caused to approach a limit state amount through compression capacity operation matching a demand load. This constitution maintains a condensing temperature or a vaporizing temperature at the heat exchanger on the utilization side is maintained approximately at a specified value and enables suppression of the fluctuation in a discharge temperature to a room of an air condition.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the shortage in capacity upon increasing the number of operating sets by a method wherein a set capacity after increasing a load capacity during operation is compared with a compressing capacity during operation to operate an air- conditioning machine with an enough capacity. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant cycle is constituted of a plurality of indoor units connected to an outdoor unit provided with a compressor 1. A compressing capacity storing means 38 stores the set capacity of the compressor 1 in the relation of the load capacity of the indoor units, required to be operated, and the air-conditioning load thereof. A compressor control means 37 controls the compressing capacity of the compressor 1 in accordance with the air-conditioning load during operation based on said set capacity and a capacity selecting means 39 compares the set capacity after increasing the load capacity with the compressing capacity during operation upon increasing the load capacity during operation, hereby the operation of the air- conditioning machine is continued with an enough capacity. According to this method, the remarkable deterioration of airconditioning capacity upon increasing the load capacity which is caused in the case of a large air-conditioning load may be prevented while effecting an accurate compressing capacity control in accordance with the air conditioning load whereby the comfortable feeling of users may be improved.
