CONSTITUTION:The static electricity countermeasure layer 15 consisting of a translucent conductor layer (or nontranslucent conductor layer provided with window) is formed between a passivation layer 11 and a wear resisting layer 8. This countermeasure layer 15 and a ground electrode 51 on a base board 10 are connected electrically by conductive resin 50. Here, the passivation layer 11, a shock mitigation layer 12, and adhesive 9 constitute the translucent protective layer. In order to realize this constitution, the passivation layer 11 and the mitigation layer 12 on the ground electrode are provided with the opening part so that the electrode surface of the ground electrode 51 is exposed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a reflected light from a manuscript from entering a semiconductor layer at an intersecting part, when picture image on the manuscript is to be read, block the change of capacitance of the intersecting part, and evade the increase of crosstalk, by arranging a light shielding material member at the part where individual signal wirings and common signal wirings intersect each other. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric transducer part 1, a storage capacitor part 2, a TFT part 3, and a matrix signal wiring part 5 are formed on a substrate 7, and the upper part of the wiring part 5 is covered with a protective layer 16. In this constitution, a light shielding part 17 is arranged on the upper part of the protective layer 16, thereby preventing a reflected light from a manuscript P from entering a semiconductor layer 13 at a part where individual signal electrodes 11 of the wiring part 5 and common signal wirings 15 intersect each other. While the light shielding part 17 have only to cut off light, metallic material is desirable not to be used, in order not to generate capacitive coupling between the wirings 15 and the light shielding part 17. At the time of reading, optical information which has entered the transducer part 1 becomes a voltage output after passing the capacitance part 2, the transferring TFT part 3, a reset TFT, and the wiring part 5, but this does not exert an adverse influence upon the intersecting part.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of crosstalk between output signals by constituting matrix wiring to a laminated structure composed at least of the first conductor layer, the first insulating layer, the second conductor layer, the second insulating layer, a semiconductor layer, and the third conductor layer in the described order. CONSTITUTION:In matrix wiring section 5, individual signal lines 22 composed of the first conductor layers, the first insulating layers 23 covering the individual signal lines, the second conductor layers 24 which maintain electric potential at a fixed level, the second insulating layers 25 formed on the layers 24, semiconductor layers 26, ohmic contact layers 27, and common signal lines 37 which intersect the individual signal lines 22 and are composed of conductor layers are successively piled up on a base body 8. When the section 5 is constituted in such way, the level difference of the insulating layer 25 with its underlying layer and the thickness of the layer 25 are reduced, resulting in easier formation of contact holes 38. Therefore, occurrence of crosstalk between output signals is prevented and this photoelectric converter can be reduced in size.
