    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device which is a simple structure and provide good base isolation performance, by forming a roller guide surface on four facing surfaces of a vertical pressing member, and combining integrally upper and lower base isolation mechanisms each other where a roller with circular section is arranged between upper roller guide surface and lower roller guide surface such that roller rolling directions of the upper and lower base isolation mechanisms cross each other. SOLUTION: In an upper base isolation mechanism A1, a roller 5 is rotatably placed between upper and lower guide surfaces 3, 4 respectively in upper and lower pressing members 1, 2. In a lower base isolation mechanism A2, similar to the upper base isolation mechanism A1, a roller 5 is rotatably placed between the upper and lower guide surfaces 3, 4 orthogonally to the rolling direction of the roller in the upper base isolation mechanism A1. A vibration damping means D is placed, so that when an earthquake stops, the roller 5 quickly stops at original standing position and the upper and lower pressing members 1, 2 are returned to their original states. This vibration damping means D consists of viscous oil 6 and a rebounding member 7, and the rebounding member 7 is integrally stuck on the center of the bottom surface in a supporting beam member 9 of the upper base isolation mechanism A1.

SOLUTION: A device is provided with a relative rotor which is journaled to a car body in an installing part 3, and relative rotor 7 in which a clearance 6 for storing a viscous body 5 is formed between the relative rotor 4 and it, and which is relative rotatably on the relative rotor 4. Rotation of the relative rotor 4 is transmitted to the relative rotor 7 in a nonlinear shape by a rotary transmitting means 8, and also resistance force caused by viscous resistance of the viscous body 5 generated by relative rotation of both rotors 4, 7, is changed. Namely, the rotary transmitting means 8 is provided with a connecting means 42 which is relative movably and rotatably connected to the relative rotor 7 in the car body. The connecting means 42 consists of an arm 60 and a guide engaging means 43 for guiding the arm 60.

The outer surface 53 consists of an exposed surface of an outside layer 56 consisting of heat resistant film, and the outside layer 56 is furnished with a reinforcing material 9 consisting of wire mesh consolidated with the outside layer 56, and the outer surface 53 where the outside surface 56 and reinforcing material 9 consisting of wire mesh mixedly included in and consolidated with the outside layer 56 are exposed is formed in a flat and smooth plane.

SOLUTION: A trap type gate door is provided with a support 2, an arm means 6 with one end 4 supported on the support 2 rotatably in a direction R, a door 10 fitted to the other end 8 of the arm means 6, a resilience imparting means 11 for imparting resiliency to the arm means 6 in the spring-up direction of the door 10 against the own weight of the door 10 and arm means 6, an automatic arm rotating means 13 for automatically rotating the arm means 6, and a control means 14 for controlling the rotation of the arm means 6 rotated by the automatic arm rotating means 13. The control means 14 controls the automatic arm rotating means 13 in such a way as to once stop the R- direction rotation of the arm means 6 for the fixed time and then to rotate the arm means 6 again in the direction R only for the fixed time. It is desirable that a rotating angle is 5 deg.-20 deg., and stop time is 0.5-1 second.
