    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability by forming each seal surface along the rotary shaft direction, and providing a second seal member between both the seal surfaces so that the clutch operating oil, which passes through inside a delivery space, can be supplied into a oil pressure chamber without generating a leak even in the case where a clutch drum is moved in the rotary shaft extending direction. SOLUTION: A reverse clutch 30 of an automatic transmission supplies the operating oil to a pressure-oil chamber 13 through an oil passage 37, which is formed in an oil pump cover 27, so as to move a clutch piston 12 right, and obtains the clutch contact condition. In this case, a seal surface part 40 formed along the extending direction of an input shaft 4 and a disk side seal surface part 41 formed with a recessed part 41a in the periphery thereof at the disk part 29 side and the base side seal surface part 42 formed with a flange in the circumference of the base part 31 are provided opposite to the disk part 29 of the oil pump cover 27 and the base part 31 of a clutch drum 34. An oil seal ring 43 is interposed between both the seal surface parts 41, 42 so as to prevent the leak of the operating oil.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce friction by providing a flow control valve reducing the supply quantity of lubricating fluid to a lubricating circuit compaired with at engaging, when engagement of a multiple disc clutch is released. CONSTITUTION: At low speed of vehicle speed, a shift valve 11 applies line pressure P to a low speed frictional engaging element VLC by a spring 11a, a sufficient quantity of lubricating oil PO is supplied to the plate of a low reverse brake LRB from a main lubricating circuit 9 through a low reverse lubricating circuit 9a, and hence there is no possibility of seizure at engagement. At high speed, the shift valve 11 applies line pressure P to a high speed frictional engaging element VHC, changes to the condition of supplying lubricating oil to the low reverse lubricating circuit 9a from the main lubricating circuit 9 through a flow limiting circuit 9b, and hence lubricating oil PO is almost not supplied to the plate of the brake LRB. Because the brake LRB is not fastened at high speed, there is no possibility of seizure. Consequently, friction by lubricating oil can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced.

In this case, the cross section of the plate spring 3 being of a rectangular shape and elastically deformed in the thickness direction (radius direction), the spring constant in such section becomes small and thereby a specified press- down force can be secured by a large deformation.
