Accordingly, this heater can remove the temperature irregularity of the food and the overheating around the food.

Only when the condition of finishing of heating is satisfied, will the drive output for the heat sources 2a, 2b interrupted, and the elapsed time after the finishing of the heating and the detection signal of a door opening/closing detector 4 are monitored, further, the operation of the drive motor 6 is continued, until the elapsed time after the finishing of the heating reaches a prescribed first value or when it is decided that a door 3 has been opened, whereby the quality of the finishing is prevented from deteriorating due to the influence of remaining heat of the heat sources 2a, 2b.
