    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space disorientation training apparatus and a flight simulator which are used for a pilot to receive both of centripetal force and centrifugal force and experience its environment or for general people to enjoy amusement or receive education. SOLUTION: The rotation of a cockpit around a planetary axis is controlled by a remote console (remote control) computer and the rotation of the cockpit around a pitch axis and a roll axis is controlled only by an on-board cockpit computer or the combination of the cockpit computer and the console computer. The rotation of the cockpit around a yawing axis is controlled only by the console computer or the combination of the console computer and the cockpit computer. Slip rings are used for the planetary axis and the yawing axis and the cockpit is rotated around each axis by 360°. Rotation around the pitch axis, the roll axis and the yawing axis is respectively performed by a high-torque direct drive DC motor and smooth and continuous motor operation at wide-range speeds including speeds not more than the threshold which can not be sensed by a pilot can be performed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulator control method and a simulation device, wherein excessive revolving motion is not generated and a testee does not feel a sense of incongruity.
      SOLUTION: The simulation device for reproducing oscillation of a real machine by rotary driving a plurality of shafts consisting of a rotary axis and a plurality of gimbal axes comprises: a means 14 for calculating a motion model of a virtual vehicle based on operation information inputted by a testee pilot 30; a rotation speed calculation means 11 for calculating the rotation speed of the rotary axis based on the motion model; an acceleration/angular velocity calculation means 13 for respectively calculating, from the angle of gimbals, translation acceleration and angular velocity acting on the testee; and an angle calculation means for calculating correction amount of the angle of gimbals according to the deviation of the calculated translation acceleration and angular velocity from the motion model, and the angular velocity of the rotary axis. Based on each of the calculated motion data, a rotary drive mechanism is operated to reproduce the translation acceleration and the rotation angular velocity to act on the testee .
