    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound for an electrode material of high capacity as an electrode of an electrochemical element of a battery, a method for manufacturing the same and an electrode using the compound.
      SOLUTION: A redox-active polymer in which a polymer side chain has a disulfide group introduced by polymerizing an isothiocyanate derivative having a thiourea group and an isocyanate group in a molecule as a starting material, or by polymerizing an isothiocyanate derivative having S-ether-thiourea group and an isothiocyanate group in a molecule as a starting material and a main chain has a diamino group. When the redox-active polymer is used as a positive electrode, a lithium battery of high capacity is obtained and heavy current can be taken out at room temperature.
