    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driving device which has a built-in current detecting means in an integrated circuit and which can reduce the power consumption.
      SOLUTION: A switching element (9) for detecting current is connected to an output circuit in the bridge connection with switching elements (5-8). A current flowing in the output circuit is detected with a current detecting circuit (11) corresponding to a torque command signal. A PWM signal generating circuit (3) generates a PWM signal on the basis of the output. The output of an energization switching circuit (1) for deciding the energization phase to a motor coil (4), and an output signal of the PWM signal generating circuit (3) are composited with a compositing circuit (2). The PWM operations of a first state, which feeds current to the motor coil (4), if the switching element on one opposite side is in a conduction state, the switching element on the other opposite side is in a non-conduction state, and the switching element (9) for detecting current is in a conduction state; and a second state, which makes the switching element (9) for detecting a current to be in a non-conduction state and makes all of the switching elements (5-8) in the bridge connection of an energization polarity switching circuit to be in a conduction state, are executed repeatedly. As a result, the supply current to the motor coil (4) is controlled.
