    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for classifying and recovering a substrate by which an organic polymer mixture is thermally decomposed, and to provide an apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a method for classifying and recovering the substrate and the apparatus therefor by which organic polymers are thermally decomposed utilizing mainly a molten inorganic salt. The substrate to be mixed in the polymer material can simply be separated to easily achieve the objective of the classification, and the substrate of a large area (volume) can be obtained. Recyclability can be improved without destroying characteristics of the original substrate, and even more important; in the process of treatment, the target of energy-saving and reduction in carbon dioxide emission and the objective of pollution control measures can be achieved; consideration for both can simultaneously be taken; and a method for treating wastes of the organic polymers, the method for classifying the substrate and apparatus therefor can be provided.
