SOLUTION: The electromagnetic valve has a cylindrical housing 12, an electromagnetic solenoid 14 provided coaxially in the housing, and a movable valve 16 displaced by the operation of the electromagnetic solenoid. The housing has first, second, and third openings 24, 26, 28, respectively provided on the first and second end walls and a cylindrical wall. The movable valve has a rod 42 which penetrates through a through-hole along an axial line of the electromagnetic solenoid, an armature 44 which is fixed on the rod and is attracted by the electromagnetic solenoid, and first and second valve elements 46, 48 mounted on the rod. The valve elements displace between a first position, where the first opening communicates with the third opening, when the first valve element opens the first opening, and the second valve element closes the second opening and a second position where the second opening communicates with the third opening, when the first valve element closes the first opening, and the second valve body opens the second opening.

SOLUTION: An operation control circuit 32 inflates a first airbag 28 by supplying air to the first airbag 28 by operating and controlling an air supplying and venting means 33 and advances a pair of finger pressure members 27 and 27 to the shoulder portions of the user, further inflates a second airbag 29 by supplying air to the second airbag 29 by operating and controlling the air supplying and venting means 33. Since the base portion of the neck of the user can be pinched by using the pair of finger pressure members 27 and 27 by inflating and deflating the airbags 28 and 29 in this way, the base portion of the neck of the user can be massaged similarly to the finger pressure action which the man does.

摘要： A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing therapeutic intermittent pneumatic pressure to a body portion. An air reservoir receives a substantially steady flow of pressurized air from a pump. Pressure is applied as a rapid pulse from the reservoir to a cuff means in contact with the body portion so as to promote acceleration of venous blood flow in the body portion. In a preferred embodiment, the pneumatic pressure is applied in a graduated manner and/or sequentially distally to proximally along the body portion. A simplified carrying arrangement is provided for the system.

The mattress 5 is equipped with a mattress base 15, a plurality of mats 16 and 17 made of a cushioning material, and a mattress cover 18. The mattress base 15 is elastically deformable in the vertical direction. Respective mats 16 and 17 can be superposed with each other, and at the same time, can independently be handled from each other, and are removably stacked on the mattress base 15. To one mat of the mats 16 and 17, the air bags 21a to 21e are attached. The mattress cover 18 houses the mattress base 15, and at the same time, removably houses respective mats 16 and 17.
