    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser cladding method capable of immediately removing fumes and surplus powders generated from a machining portion from the machining portion and inside a cylinder head, thereby contributing to improvement in productivity and reduction in manufacturing costs, and to provide its apparatus. SOLUTION: The laser cladding method includes steps of: preparing a duct 12 having a suction pipe (suction port) 11 attachable to / detachable from a suction/exhaust port 3 of the cylinder head 1 the position of which is fixed; casting laser beams to a valve seat part 2 of the cylinder head 1 while supplying metal powder from a laser machining head 6 thereto, sucking air from inside the duct 12 by an exhaust fan 14 to suck fumes and surplus powders generated from the cladding portion inside the duct 12 for laser cladding; capturing the surplus powder by a filter 17 in the pre-stage disposed in the duct 12 as required; and capturing fumes by a filter 18 in the pre-stage; and recovering the surplus powder in a powder recovery box 20.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe bending machine and a pipe bending method having a simple machine configuration in which the material reduction on the outer bending side is suppressed in the bending of the relatively large bending radius, and any wrinkle (buckling) on the inner bending side does not occur without using any tool such as a core and a wrinkle holder.
      SOLUTION: The pipe bending machine comprises a bending die 1 having grooves 1U, 3U of the shape corresponding to the bending shape, a press die 3, a clamp 2 and a pressing means 8, and a drive means 12 to drive the press die. The pressing means 8 performs the pressing at the intersection between the line L1 which is obtained by deviating the line L0 passing through an abutting point of a pipe (p) of the bending die 1 and the rotational center (o) to the pipe input side by the distance δ (0-D) in the direction of the line L1, and the drive means 12 applies tension to the pipe (p) in its axial direction. The sum of the peripheral length of the grooves 1U, 3U is set to be smaller than the circumferential length of the pipe, and the pipe is reduced and bent while applying the tension in its axial direction. Occurrence of wrinkles on the inner bending side can be effectively suppressed when bending a thin-walled pipe in a relatively large bending radius.
